WHAT IS DIGITAL PRODUCING
Digital producing is the creative experience design and project management of digital or hybrid events. It is a dynamic career characterised by constant innovation, experimentation, and life-long learning. Digital producers have individualized skillsets from traditional event producing (project management such as budgeting, research, planning, grant writing, business strategy, human resources, etc.) to content creation and digital/media arts (videography, video editing, graphic design, stream programming/operation, social media coordination, web design/dev, digital/media arts, etc.) This is a career that is highly customizable to each individual’s interests and strengths, as they relate to the planning and execution of the wide spectrum of digital/hybrid experiences (festivals, shows, installations, etc.)
