Are you looking for a full time acting intensive program where you can eat, breathe and sleep acting?
The AMTI program is the ONLY ONE year acting program in Alberta that is licensed by Alberta Advanced Education Private Career Colleges.
This means that students are eligible for student loans and grants. The Artistic Director, Ruth Alexander, has toured with numerous UK productions including playing Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables and she also had a regular speaking role on Coronation Street. She taught at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and since she has arrived in Edmonton she has appeared in several productions at the Citadel Theate as well as numerous stage and screen roles.
We’re looking for 10 cast members to join the program which starts mid-September and runs to May.
Students will present several projects including a cabaret performance in December as well as create an original Web series pilot for their final project.
We’ve got an in-house video production studio as well as dance studio and more!
