Workshops (Alberta): CITT Alberta Offering Two Video Streaming Workshops

Please join CITT Alberta and Theatre Alberta in our presentation of two sessions focused on Video Streaming and Best Practices to help to move your theatre from the stage to a streamed screen. Both of these events will be hosted on Zoom to provide you with information safely. Audience size is limited to ensure the ability for the presenter to properly respond to your questions.

An Introduction to Streaming Your Events

Thursday 18 March 2021 at 1pm MDT (2 hours) or Friday 19 March 2021 at 1pm MDT (2 hours)
Join Rob Evans for an introductory webinar that will explore the basics around the equipment you need, how to link it together, best processes for success and how to adapt your live theatre skills for the streaming environment. **The March 18 Session is now Sold Out!**

Advanced Training for Streaming Your Events

Tuesday 6 April through Friday 9 April at 9am MDT (4 hours, per day)
Rob Evans will return with a series of in-depth training events that will explore in greater detail, the specifics that were covered in the first event. This will include how to optimize your equipment setup and get the optimal results from your streaming system.

This 4-day session is $10 for members (individuals and groups) of CITT/ICTS and Theatre Alberta.
For non-members the cost is $20. There is some financial assistance available to those in need. Please ask us. Members must contact CITT for the discount promo code.

About the Instructor

Rob Evans has been working in the Live Events and Entertainment industry for over 20 years. His career has spanned all points between being a volunteer with community groups, all the way to being the Director of Audio Visual for a multi-million dollar high-end hotel chain.

Rob currently works with the Bert Church LIVE Theatre in Airdrie, he has worked there for 5 years, 3 of them as Technical Lead. Located next to Airdrie’s beautiful East Lake, Bert Church LIVE Theatre provides audiences with a unique opportunity to experience world renowned performers in a local setting. The 377-seat facility features professional grade technical systems and combines the charm of a small city venue with an up close and personal, accessible experience.
