A comprehensive review of the issues regarding tax preparation and filing including dealing with COVID-19 funding initiatives. We will discuss income and how to accurately record CERB and other federal payments you may have received in 2020. Personal expenses and available write offs will also be covered in detail. During the seminar participants will view these aspects from the perspective of the performing artist and will gain a working knowledge of how to ensure your 2020 returns are fair and accurate.

Instructor Bio:
Ray Mordan has been a Financial Services professional for over three decades. He worked with Bank of Montreal for 25 years before becoming a Royal Roads University Certified Executive Coach in 2004. He was a financial planner with Investors Group for 8 years and recently established “Mordan Financial Services” to provide personal financial reviews and coaching for individuals and small businesses.
Ray is also a theatre veteran with over 45 credits. He most recently directed “Looking” for Confederation Theatre and played “Charlie” in their Feb 2020 production of “The Good Game”
This workshop is presented at this low cost in the spirit of community theatre.
