Introducing Jube School’s Teacher PD Series.
Workshop #1: Directing Improv w/ Aaron Coates
Improvisation is an important part of acting. Whether it’s used for performance, character development, scene creation, or to study acting skills, learning to help actors find freedom in their work is essential. This course will look at how you effectively set up improvisations with actors, how to give direction inside an improvisation, and how to troubleshoot when things aren’t working. We’ll also examine how to set up an improvised soap opera, from conception to execution. This style of performance can work both live or online!
Cost: $30/workshop OR $75 for the whole series!
