WHO SHOULD APPLY:

The Crossed Wires Cabaret is intended to demonstrate the far reaches of how artists can use technology
in their work. We encourage every idea, from a rough outline to a fully-previously-produced piece, to be
submitted for consideration. Ambition, play, and creativity are the spirit of the event.

We are seeking ideas that connect our at-home audience with our in-person audience. How can one
audience see a piece one way and the other audience have a completely different experience? How can
the at-home audience feel this performance is just as much for them as for the audience in the room?
If you’re not sure whether or not your idea is technologically possible, pitch it! Our team loves a technical challenge and wants to work with you to make it possible. We want to give artists time, resources, and money to explore an idea and try something new!
