Halloween Make-up Workshop: Ghoulish Tips
LIVE Online with Lisa Floyd

Join us online to learn the basics of Halloween Gore Makeup! We will be covering basic techniques for creating realistic buises/abrasions & Cuts/Wounds/Blood effects, as well as simple how to attach and dress a simple prosthetic.

If you would like to try these looks yourself, you will need the following:

  • Paintbrushes (any variety is fine)
  • Vaseline
  • Ben Nye Stipple Sponge
  • Ben Nye Spirit Gum & Remover Pack
  • Ben Nye Stage Blood
  • Ben Nye Bruises & Abrasions Wheel
  • Ben Nye Nose & Scar Wax
  • Wedge Makeup Sponges


Lisa is a Calgary based Designer, Stage Manager and SFX Artist. In the past 7 years she has been lucky enough to grow and learn from her fellow artists and the community around her. During this great pause she has been trying to find new ways of being creative and is so grateful to be working with Morpheus Theatre on a Halloween Makeup Tutorial. Makeup credits include: It’s A Wonderful Life (Morpheus Theatre), Quarantine (Search Tower Company), The Curing Room-yyc (Theatre BSMT), Old Age Tutorial (Theatre Calgary), Werewolf Tutorial (Bert Church High School), Tiger Tutorial (Girl Guides of Canada). Lisa looks forward to virtually connecting with all the ghosts and ghouls in October!
