ACTING 101 FOR ALL AGES
Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 2-4 PM
Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts (230 Powder Dr)
This workshop will introduce participants to basic acting techniques in a fun and safe environment. You will be guided through the five basic rules of acting, get tips on what you can do when something goes awry, learn different warm-ups, and try a couple of high-energy improv games.
About facilitators Hanna and Zenon
You might recognize these two goofballs from several local theatre productions for Theatre; Just Because, Keyano Theatre, in local short films, and the ADFA One-Act Festival.
Most recently, they both appeared in Lend Me A Tenor, as the pirate captain and first mate in AHOY! A Pirate’s Life For Me, The Drowsy Chaperone, and The Myths and Bricks Project (this was a one-man show, but Hanna still takes full credit).
Acting is fun! Come enjoy it with us!
Acting 101 is open to all ages and experience levels and is FREE as part of Alberta Culture Days in Wood Buffalo 2020. Registration required.
