(exp)lore is the first installment in Jupiter Theatre’s new Digital Audio Theatre Experience, a podcast to be enjoyed in the community while social distancing. This anthology of site-specific stories takes an imaginative dive into the past and future of Calgary’s inner city.
We are seeking directors to artistically lead individual episodes for round two of this new audio theatre project. Jupiter Theatre encourages submissions from diverse artists of all backgrounds, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We are actively seeking submissions from underrepresented communities including BIPOC and LGBTQ2+ artists.
IMPORTANT DATES
Rehearsal and recording for this section of the project will take between August 3rd and September 12th, 2020 or September 13th and October 9th, 2020. You do not need to be available for the entire period to be considered, each episode of the series will be rehearsed and recorded on independent schedules. Please notify us if you have any conflicts with these dates. Given current public health guidelines, we anticipate rehearsals will be done online, but this is subject to change.
