The Short & Suite Collective is thrilled to announce the first annual EDMONten: A Showcase of Ten-Minute Plays, taking place in the heart of Old Strathcona on March 20-21, 2020. After an overwhelming response to the blind submission call for original, unproduced ten-minute scripts, the following plays were chosen:
- Gate D98 Amanda Samuelson
- Fledglings Beth Graham
- What/For Evelyn Rollans
- All the Way to Pluto Liam Salmon
- Rooftop Murmurs Marina Mair Sanchez
- Rumspringa Nicole Moeller
The public presentations of these short and sweet theatrical pieces will take place on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 7:30pm and Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 1:30pm at The Grindstone Comedy Theatre & Bistro – 10019 81 Ave, Edmonton.

Pastries and Playwriting: Join us at 11:30 AM on March 21 for a conversation with playwright James Hutchison about his experience with entering–and winning–10-minute play contests around the world.
The Short & Suite Collective is comprised of 2 playwrights and a dramaturg: Conni Massing, Michele Vance Hehir and Tracy Carroll. All three are passionate about new plays and particularly enthused about this unique format. We were thrilled by the response to our first submission call and look forward to sharing these terrific 10-minute plays with Edmonton audiences.
