Let Thou Art Here Theatre introduce you to the play through a fun interactive puppet adaptation. This 15-minute primer will introduce you to the characters, outline the plot points and get the whole family excited about the upcoming show! Free for all of our patrons at the Freewill Shakespeare Festival!

Thou Art Here Theatre is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team this summer for the Freewill Shakespeare Festival. Performers will rehearse and perform two 15 minute Shakespearean puppet shows written and directed by Alyson Dicey. Shows are presented to the public before ALL main stage performances at the festival. We are looking for collaborative performers who want to build skills and get hands-on practice, all while learning Thou Art Here’s unique style of adapting Shakespearean text!

Puppetry, improvisation, singing and musical instrument experience are an asset, but not essential.
Applicants must be available for evening rehearsals in late May/early June as well as performances at the 2020 Freewill Shakespeare Festival from June 16 to July 12, 2020 (dark Mondays).

Available positions:

-4 contracted artists to be reimbursed with an honorarium of $1250 each

NOTE: This job conflicts with the scheduling of all other Freewill Festival contracts including the Freewill Young Company position.

The audition location will be announced once your audition has been confirmed.

Auditions will be held in groups. If you have a musical instrument, please come prepared to demonstrate your skills.
