StoryBook engages artists in professional contracts for Directors, Choreographers, Designers, Musical Directors and Stage Managers in order to provide strong foundational training to all our emerging artists looking to learn and grow in theatre arts.

StoryBook will produce 6 musical and 1 play in the upcoming season. Our first show will start rehearsals mid to late September and our final show will open late May 2021.

We are one of Canada’s largest engagers of emerging artists both on and off the stage and have engaged directors from across the country for the past three seasons.

We invite everyone from across Canada with the expertise to teach young artists to submit and be a part of Canada’s most vibrant theatre organization. StoryBook serves more than 50,000 patrons and engages more than 400 artists annually as both contract artists and volunteers.

Our 2020/21 Season has yet to be announced but we know that it will provide something for everyone and be filled with some of Canada’s brightest rising stars.

StoryBook believes that inclusivity and diversity are integral to the stories we tell both on and off our stage and want an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work.
