The Swamp Donkey Musical Theatre Society is looking for a Choreographer for its upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz which runs from May 22 to 24, 2020.
Honorarium: $300
Show Dates: May 22 to 24, 2020
Duties:
• Attend auditions
• Develop choreography for final performances
• Lead choreography and movement rehearsals
• Teach participants how to execute choreography
Skills:
• Knowledge of dance styles and history
• Previous dance training in multiple styles is an asset
• Strong choreographic skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaborative, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people
• Willingness to work with a number of people with a range of age, experience, and abilities
• Enthusiasm for the project
Availability:
Rehearsals
February 9 to May 14, 2020 (Sundays 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Mondays and Thursdays 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.)
