We are a small production company in Red Deer Alberta. Although our workshop is located in Red Deer we ship sets to Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg, then go to the cities to change over the theatre for the next show. The stage is revamped and the walls repainted with murals to go with the set. I am looking to invest in a hardworking, dedicated, creative individual who would ideally like to grow with us long-term.
Position: Part-time, for the first few months then Full time year-round
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $16 – $25 starting – depending on skill set/experience
*Must have valid drivers license and means of transportation*
Skills/Assets:
- Carpentry and wood shop safety
- Painting and finishing
- Sewing skills would be a plus
- Artistic ability is an asset
- Good team player, able to listen and properly implement instruction
- Self-motivated, able to work alone
- Positive attitude & strong work ethic
- Must be able to travel to Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary 15 weeks a year. Accommodations provided, travel allowance provided for flights to Winnipeg.
