Can a rubber chicken harken the destruction of the planet?
On October 5, the Kinkonauts’ 13th season kicks off with Radio Daze: Conflict of the Cosmos. This one-night-only show is a fully improvised radio play inspired by the War of the Worlds broadcast that terrified and scandalized a nation. Relive the radio days of yore and embark on a dramatic journey complete with live foley in this exciting tribute.
The fall lineup will also include Nonsense and Sensibility: An Improvised Jane Austen and Starfleet Confidential, our own loving parody of the Star Trek saga. With more than 25 unique improv troupes and a few experiments in the works, Calgary’s Improv Lab is shaping up to produce its most ambitious season yet.
