Across Alberta, volunteers accomplish extraordinary things every day. It is thanks to their dedication and commitment that we have access to the recreational, cultural and social programs and facilities that are at the heart of strong, vibrant communities.
These extraordinary individuals are driven by the passion of their hearts, the love they share for their community, and a sense of duty and compassion to make life better for someone else. Their selfless efforts should not be taken for granted. Volunteers and their indispensable contributions to our communities should be recognized and celebrated.
