After the immense success with past workshops, OffBook Acting Studio is bringing back Judy Lee for another workshop weekend! Remember, the last one with Judy sold out in 3 days!! For this workshop you may choose to attend either Friday & Sunday, or Saturday & Sunday.

This is an amazing opportunity to be seen and work in front of one of North America’s busiest casting directors!

It is also great for past participants as Judy can asses your progress over the last few months!

We will use OffBook Acting Studio’s 2 AUDITION FORMAT for this workshop

  • 1st Audition) 15-20 minute working the scene session with Judy
  • 2nd Audition) Simulated “real audition that gives you a feel of how auditions work in a busier market
  • For this workshop you can choose to attend either Friday & Sunday, or Saturday & Sunday.

Day 1 – Friday, Sept 13 or Saturday, Sept 15 – 11-5pm

-Work and prep the scene in a classroom setting
-Scene prep and audition techniques
-Explore techniques to conquer and embrace nerves and anxiety
-What to expect in the audition room and industry in general
-Clearing up the misinformation that sometimes surrounds the film/tv industry
-Understanding the distinction and similarities of good acting vs. good auditioning

Day 2 – Sunday, Sept 15th -11- 4pm – With Judy Lee

-Work the scene with Judy Lee, one-on-one in a simulated audition setting for TWO AUDITIONS
-Personalized notes and tips on your work through the entire workshop
-Conclude with group q/a session with Judy giving industry tips and insight

Judy Lee has cast over 145 projects with notable networks including Hallmark, Netflix, Lifetime, Universal, CBC and more. Casting for large Television, Movie of the Week and Feature Film projects, Judy is currently one of the most active, successful and respected Casting directors in Canada.

Judy’s inspirations are the actors who come into her casting sessions and demonstrate unwavering courage and commitment and her young daughter who teaches her the beauty and bravery of picking one’s self up after falling and continuing on the journey.
