PROJECT SYNOPSIS:
The Malachite Theatre Collective are delighted to announce auditions for Edmonton’s 1st “Winter Shakespeare Festival” – a brand-new, site-specific repertory Shakespeare Festival running from Jan 3 – Feb 2, 2020.
Current applications are for a repertory acting company of 12-14 performers; who will work with traditional, Elizabethan performance practices to produce two full-scale, main-stage productions of William Shakespeare’s:
JULIUS CAESAR & A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM.
Following the successes of Macbeth (2019); Twelfth Night (2018); and Henry V (2017), we are delighted to return to Alberta for this fantastic winter of stunning site-specific Shakespeare, staged in HTAC’s eerily-beautiful sanctuary space.
