WHO: Ages 7-14
WHAT: WHERE THE WILD THINGS WERE – Imagine an island inhabited by beasts known as the “Wild Things” and a girl who helps them save their Island. In a series of fun-filled drama classes, players will begin with self-development drama activities in order to expand their vocal and body expressive tools. Players will create a Hip Hop Dance piece and through the use of Dance, Storytelling, and Performing Arts techniques, they will develop their communication skills. With a new sense of body and vocal confidence, players will express their character and the style of Theatre by presenting an adaptation of the children’s picture book, “Where the Wild Things Are”, on the last day of the camp. This Celebration of Learning is for friends, family and anyone who would like to see how we play.
WHEN: Monday Aug. 19 – Friday Aug. 23, 2019, from 9:00am – 4:00pm (Pre & post care available)

WHAT: JUNGLE BOOK ADVENTURES – Imagine the Literary world of Rudyard Kipling and the jungles of India. In a series of fun-filled drama classes, players will begin with self-development drama activities in order to expand their vocal and body expressive tools. Players will create their own Character mask and through the use of their mask, Storytelling, and Performing Arts techniques, they will develop their communication skills. With a new sense of body and vocal confidence, players will express their character and the style of Theatre by presenting an adaptation of the famous story, “The Jungle Book”, on the last day of the camp. This Celebration of Learning is for friends, family and anyone who would like to see how we play.
WHEN: Monday Aug. 26 – Friday Aug. 30, 2019, from 9:00am – 4:00pm (Pre & post care available)
INVESTMENT: Discount= $270/player if registered by Aug. 2, or for members of: the same family or Parkdale Community or Regular = $300/player
Investment includes: 5 classes x 7 hours/class plus 1 hour for dress rehearsal and performance at the end of the program = 36 hours. (Costumes, props and set supplied by Theatre A Go-Go)
