Bim’s strengths lie in his 15 years of valued experience in various areas such as Film, TV and Commercial casting. In a rare opportunity, you will be able to work and speak with him personally to learn the differences in acting and casting for projects in each form of media
Day 1 – July 26th (6-10) OR July 27th (11-5)
- Scene prep and audition techniques
- Explore techniques to conquer and embrace nerves and anxiety
- What to expect in the audition room and industry in general
- The differences in casting and auditions between film, tv and commercials
Day 2 – Sunday, July 28th -11- 4pm – With Bim Narine
- Work the scene with Bim Narine, one-on-one in a simulated audition setting
- Personalized notes and advice from Bim on areas of improvement for you as an actor
- Conclude with group q/a session with Bim giving industry tips and insights
Bim is one of the most trusted and experienced casting directors in Vancouver. Casting for over 14 years for hundreds of commercials, dozens of feature films, television series, music videos, reality series, and short films. By working on a variety of projects throughout the years, he has been able to effectively determine the best solutions to cast the right people. He has cast for such films as Watchmen, Cocaine Godmother (Catherine Zeta Jones), Grand Unified Theory and has worked with various networks including Netflix, Amazon, DreamWorks, Lifetime and Hallmark.
Sides(Scripts) will be selected and given to you beforehand from projects that Bim has actually cast previously. All work recorded on your SD Card
