ezTickets.ca is a new Albertan company that provides an extremely affordable option for theatre groups to offer their tickets online. We originally developed this system for the Leduc Black Gold Rodeo; now that it’s completed, however, we thought we’d offer it to other groups out there. There’s no point in having it sit idle the rest of the year when other people can use it. Given my own long history in theatre, I immediately thought of theatre groups.

For very small groups or charity events, we’re offering it free of charge. Larger productions will have a nominal fee added to each ticket to cover our own costs. We obviously can’t lose money, but we’re also not trying to get rich off the backs of starving artists, so we’re not charging any of the percentage fees any of the major ticketing companies charge.
