Tony Orlando and Dawn of the Dead: That 70s Zombie Musical! Halloween, 1977. Tony Orlando is a man at a crossroads. His variety show ratings are steadily declining, the Dawns are constantly fighting, and his producers have just booked his mortal enemies as guests for his Halloween special. Now not only is he forced to share the stage with The Captain and Tennille, Hall and Oates, and The Carpenters, but he must face some surprise guests infected with a deadly virus that have come to crash the party. Now these musical enemies must put aside differences, and team with a battle scarred song writing genius to save the world and non offensive 70s pop ballads.
Join us as we audition for the sequel to the critically acclaimed smash hit Prom Night of the Living Dead: A Zombie High School Musical! for Fringe 2020.
As the characters in the play are based on real life performers, and due to the complexity of casting as such, we are auditioning early to find the right fit. The ability to perform as the characters as they were in the 1970’s is crucial. Please indicate what character you are auditioning for, research and be prepared to audition as that individual.
For singing roles please prepare a song by the artist as well as a 3 minute comedic monologue.
Non singing roles only require a 3 minute comedic monologue.
As this is an amateur theatre production we cannot engage equity performers, however performers and crew will profit share with Paradigm Theatre Company in any profit from the production.
