Playground Society is very excited to debut its first show at the Edmonton Fringe Festival, Redirect: A Cabaret. We’re looking for strong singer/actors to play outside their type with new and interesting takes on traditional roles. Calling all Tenor Elphaba’s and Soprano Pippin’s to take the stage. Duets and group numbers are strongly encouraged. This is an unpaid opportunity to showcase your talent at the Edmonton Fringe Festival with a new company dedicated to giving fresh faces a spotlight.
Please prepare a number outside of your casting type that you would like to perform in the show. Group numbers and duets will audition together. Please bring sheet music in the key in which you wish to perform. Accompaniment will be provided.
