Work alongside seasoned industry professionals to hone your skills through hands-on learning in stagecraft.

Banff Centre’s Performing Arts programs support artists and technicians at every career level. The Centre was established in 1933 with a single summer course in drama. Since those early days, artists and technical practitioners alike have found exceptional opportunities for development here at our campus in the Canadian Rockies. Theatre Production practicums offer one-on-one mentorship and coaching from our experienced staff. Practicum participants leave Banff Centre with marketable skills and the confidence to step into roles as specialized professionals in their fields.
