The 3 a.m. Subtext – Casting Call
Written by Matthew Stepanic
We’re currently seeking two queer, male actors for a fringe show during the Edmonton International Fringe Festival.
Character Breakdown:
Man One
20- to 30-year-old, queer man. A confident and open person who isn’t looking for anything serious.
Man Two
20- to 30-year-old, queer man. A guarded and sensitive person who’s seeking connection.
Story: After a hook-up, two queer men wake up at 3 a.m. and tell each other ghost stories. As the night develops and the stories become more intimate, both characters confront the past traumas that still haunt them.
