Interdisciplinary Series

The IGNITE! Festival plays artistic matchmaker!
We are calling for emerging artists of any discipline (e.g. literature & poetry, music, burlesque, theatre, dance, film & animation, visual arts and anything else) who would like to be paired with an artist from a different discipline to create an 8-10 minute new creation that will be performed on the IGNITE! main stage.

We’re working with Loft 112, a creative hive where ideas are given space to develop, a place where established and emerging writers, readers, artists and poets are supported, a place where unheard voices are given a platform and a place of collaboration.

Club Series

The IGNITE! Club Series will be an art party during the festival. A multi-disciplinary performance party // clashing together audience and artists in an exploratory, off-the-wall, never-before-seen, might-not-ever-be-seen-again: performance experiences.

The Club Series is open to open to artists of all disciplines – music (solo & bands) performance art, installation art, roving performers, poetry, prose, music, comedy, burlesque, theatre, dance, media art & film, and absolutely anything else! This is an opportunity to perform, create or install your wildest ideas for an engaged and bizarre-hungry crowd.
