AUDITIONS FOR NEW WORK TO APPEAR AT THE ALBERTA ONE ACT FESTIVAL

Calling all male actors. Looking for male lead role for a new work for the Alberta One Act Festival in April.

The festival runs April 26-28th with one chance to perform. If play is chosen as the festival winner, there will be another performance in May against the other Alberta winners.

The new work is written by Alexandria Rose Fortier. It’s a comedy based on happenstance and a strangers ability to change your world. A 45 minute comedy about two strangers stranded at Pearson Airport and roll that fate and chance play in our daily lives.

Cast Breakdown:

Emmett: Mid to late twenties. Lost in his career and life, afraid to jump into anything, wants to be a writer but afraid of failure. Lovely, cheeky, and a little awkward.

Auditions will take place Feb 28th from 7 -9pm at Orange Hall.

Please email alexandriarose11@live.com with a head shot and resume to schedule auditions. Please come prepared to play, and with a 1-3 minute comedic monologue. There will be some cold reading.

Rehearsals will begin first week in March. Please come with any conflicts from March 1st to April 28th.
