Alberta Theatre Projects is holding Auditions for the play Actually by Anna Ziegler
Saturday, February 16, and Sunday, February 17, 2019 in Calgary, Alberta.

PRODUCTION DETAILS:

Production: Actually by Anna Ziegler
Director: Jenna Rodgers
Production Dates: February 4, 2020 – March 15, 2020
Audition Dates: February 16 and 17, 2019 (callbacks end of day, February 17)
Audition Location: Calgary, Alberta

HOW TO APPLY:

Send an e-mail containing the following items to auditions@atplive.com with the subject ACTUALLY Auditions + the ROLE you wish to audition for in the email subject header
• a photo and résumé, outlining your previous theatre experience
• your status with Canadian Actors Equity Association
• your preferred date/time to audition (either February 16 or 17, 2019)

Deadline to Apply: February 13, 2019

Only those selected for an audition will be contacted to schedule an audition time. No calls, please. Canadian Actors Equity Association members will be seen first at all open audition calls. CAEA Members: please bring your membership number to the audition. Equity and Non-Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under a CTA contract.

ROLES / RANGES (as described by Playwright):
AMBER – early to mid 20’s, Jewish. She is high strung, talkative, charmingly neurotic, She does not present as insecure.
TOM – early to mid 20’s, African-American. He is appealing and confident with some swagger that conceals a deeper vulnerability.

A copy of the script will be available to preview after February 4 at the Alberta Theatre Projects office (enter through Stage Door – 220 9 Ave. SE) during regular business hours.
