APPROPRIATE PARTICIPANTS

Calling all writers (and would-be writers!), playwrights, theatre professionals, students and educators interested in exploring & creating theatrical work suitable for young audiences. We welcome and encourage participants from diverse backgrounds and experiences!

THE BOOTCAMP WEEKEND

Come and explore writing for the theatre in this low pressure – high intensity weekend.
Sessions will focus on the sense of play in playwriting, with fun, hands-on exercises designed to spark imagination and inspire theatrical story-telling.
You’ll create characters, dialogue and dramatic situations, all in the spirit of exploration and with an emphasis on process rather than product.

WORKSHOP FEE

Workshop fee: $115.00
APN, Canadian Playwrights Guild & Students: $95.00
