Audition (Red Deer) : Blood Relations by Sharon Pollock – Central Alberta Theatre

 

Blood Relations written by Sharon Pollock, will be hitting our Nickle Studio stage on the 3rd floor of the Memorial Centre in May 2019. Blood Relations is a psychological murder mystery that is based on fact and speculation surrounding the life of Lizzie Borden and the murders of her father and stepmother. This production will be directed by Piper Rempel of Edmonton, AB.

2nd Round of auditions for this show will be held on the following dates:
Friday, February 15th, 2019 / 6pm to 9pm
Saturday, February 16th, 2019 / 10:30am to 12pm

We are looking for the following people:

  • 1 Male: age 30 to 50s
  • 2 Females: age 25 to late 30s (Late 30s meaning age range 37-39)

The director of this show is looking for those auditioning to prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue (no Shakespeare please!). There will also be a few cold reads done from the play itself and afterwards there will be a brief interview. You must book a slot to be considered at auditions. Any walk-ins that arrive on either of these dates will either be asked to wait for an open spot to audition OR be turned away, so please contact our VP of Productions to solidify your spot.
