ABOUT THE POSITION
Thou Art Here Theatre is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team this summer for the Freewill Shakespeare Festival. Performers will rehearse and perform our Shakespearean puppet shows that are presented to the public before the mainstage performances. We are looking for collaborative performers who want to build skills and get hands-on practice, all while learning Thou Art Here’s unique style of adapting Shakespearean text!
Puppetry, improvisation, singing and musical instrument experience are an asset, but not essential.
Applicants must be available for rehearsals in late May/early June as well as performances at the 2019 Freewill Shakespeare Festival from June 18 to July 14, 2019
Available positions:
- 2 contracted artists to be reimbursed with an honorarium of $1000
- 2 SCiP interns who will receive a $1000 scholarship each for post secondary education.

NOTE: This job conflicts with the scheduling of the Freewill Young Company position.
AUDITION TIME/LOCATION
Sunday February 3 between 1pm and 10pm at Citadel Theatre – Classroom B
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Auditions will be held in groups. If you have a musical instrument, please come prepared to demonstrate your skills.
