From Cradle to Stage 2019 celebrates the history of Walterdale from the point of view of its members. Monologues and scenes have been taken straight from real Walterdale members to create an immersive collective of stories celebrating our 60th Anniversary season.
CHARACTERS:
There are a variety of characters of varied ages and genders in the piece. These are real people from Walterdale. We encourage everyone to audition.
Please note: ages range from late teens to 70+; There will be flexibility in casting as the ages are not always specific to the monologues and scenes.
The auditions will comprise of the following:
- A SHORT (1-3 MINUTE) PREPARED CONTEMPORARY MONOLOGUE of your choice
- COLD READINGS FROM THE SCRIPT
CALL-BACKS (if required): Saturday, February 16th – 1-5 p.m.
Please bring any potential conflict dates you have to the audition.
Headshots and résumés are recommended, but not required.
As this is a new work, copies of the script are not available prior to audition.
Walterdale is a volunteer/member organization. We cannot engage Equity performers.
