This event will be live-streamed on Citadel Theatre’s Facebook Page. #CTExchange
Panel details to be announced shortly.
- What do you, as a producer, creator, or director, do to ensure everyone feels welcome and safe in your rehearsal hall or theatre?
- What do you, as an artist, need to create your best work? How do you ask for what you need?
- What can we do as a community to remove barriers for participation?
The evening will include a panel of five Edmonton professional theatre practitioners, each of whom will share their own practices and how they create welcoming workspaces for artists, or how they advocate for themselves and others to ensure physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are being met throughout a creative process. At the end of the evening, we will open up the conversation to the audience for continued dialogue and discussion (including an opportunity for the group to ask questions or to comment on Citadel Theatre’s recently released Community Report).
