Smoke Signal Media and Afterthought 2:28 Productions are searching for an actor to play Thanatos Cotard in our short film Cotard’s Delusion.
PLOT SYNOPSIS: Overnight in the private estate of the Cotard family, Zoe exhumes the most recent grave to save her father from death. Catching her in action as the sun breaks through, a young man, Thanatos, appears. Tortured by his past and trying to convince Zoe of a physical hindrance, the two are engaged in a battle of intellect for their lives.
WHO: We are searching for a cisgender or transgender male actor ages 16-25 to play the lead role “Thanatos”. All ethnicities welcome and encouraged.
WHAT: A student produced short film (10-15 minutes) from a graduating student of Rosebud School of the Arts.
WHEN: Filming end of March 17-31 2019 (during golden hours)
WHERE: Rosebud Alberta.
