Summary
StoryBook Theatre is currently seeking Dance Coaches for our Theatre School Programming. We are looking for experienced dance teachers and professional artists to instruct children ages 6-18.
CLASSES:
Spotlight Jr – Dance
Musical Theatre – Dance
Contract Hours
WINTER
January 5 to March 16
SPRING
March 24 to June 15

Operating Hours
Spotlight Jr – Sundays from 11:00am to 1:00pm
Musical Theatre for Teens – Sundays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Dance and/or Education or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum two years teaching or directing experience
- Must have a passion for sharing theatre with young artists
- Strong classroom management skills
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Must work well in a team setting
- Knowledge of technical theatre is an asset
- Basic first aid is an asset
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
