Stagecoach Theatre Arts, the world’s longest running and most successful performing arts program for children, is looking for part-time teachers/managers to join selected Calgary locations for our WINTER 2019 TERM beginning in January 2019.

Our aim at StageCoach is to nurture and develop young potential and confidence through singing, acting and dance classes, stretching young imaginations and building confidence.

All potential applicants must commit to a 10 week term running on Saturday afternoons from Jan.05 to Mar.16, with no class on Feb.16.

Here are the positions we are looking to fill:

NE (Vivo Centre Location):

EARLY STAGES TEACHER
We are looking for an outgoing person who has experience in musical theatre, and working with children aged 4-6. This person should possess strong singing/drama/dance fundamentals, and a passion for sharing your craft with the next generation of performers. They must have good storytelling skills, and be imaginative, honest, reliable, and professional. This position runs on Saturdays from 1:30pm-3:00pm.

NW (Dalhousie Community Centre Location):

ACTING TEACHER
We are looking for an outgoing person who has experience in theatre, and working with children aged 6-15. This person should possess strong drama fundamentals, and a passion for sharing your craft with the next generation of performers. The successful applicant must be comfortable blocking scenes; role-play; improv; have a vast knowledge of drama games; comfortable creating characters with the students. Familiarity with Musical Theatre is an asset but not necessary. Interested applicants should submit a resume and cover letter as soon as possible by email to calgary@stagecoachschools.ca.
