The 5th Annual BATTLE FOR THE LIMELIGHT, Northern Light Theatre’s foot-race / scavenger hunt / fundraiser, returns May 25th, 2019. Grab your sunscreen, secure your umbrellas, and wrap yourself in your warmest scarf to prepare for whatever our prairie spring has to offer, as Edmonton’s not-for-profit community meets to compete and battle it out in Old Strathcona for YEG glory and year long bragging rights.
Founded in 2014, The BATTLE FOR THE LIMELIGHT was created by Northern Light Theatre as a fun way to win the battle against arts-fundraising. Each registered team in the race is provided with the opportunity to raise funds for their charity of choice – without the overhead expense of having to mount their own campaign. No matter who walks away with the trophies, everyone one wins with this community-spirited fundraising event.
