Role: Minimum dialogue. You will be playing the soon to be wife of an African-Francophone Oil worker. In the film, she is just arriving to Canada, where her husband has been working to set a foundation for their young relationship and new life. You will be in imaginary scenes that build up to your arrival. In the husband’s anticipation, he imagines an ideal life with you in Canada. In a nouvelle-vague-esque montage you will be roaming around this promise land in an eternal state of love. You will also act in scenes where the husband hallucinates you present in his reality (in nature) and almost haunting him. And lastly you will be in a scene where you finally arrive in Canada at the airport, waiting for your dead husband. In addition to on camera acting (no dialogue), you will voice act for phone calls, voicemails and auditory flashbacks. Your dialogue is in French, so we are looking for French speakers or if not, you can learn the lines.
