Summary

StoryBook Theatre is currently seeking teachers and teaching assistants for our Let’s Create A Play Theatre School Programming in Cochrane. We are looking for experienced drama teachers and professional artists to instruct children ages 8-12. Assistants will support instructors during all classes and performances/presentations.

Let’s Create a Play – Play Creation

Contract Hours
FALL
October 14 to December 16

Operating Hours
Let’s Create a Play – Sundays from 9:45am to 12:30pm

Location
Frank Wills Memorial Hall – #405 – 1st Street East, Cochrane, AB

Skills & Qualifications – Teachers

• Bachelor’s degree in Drama and/or Education or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum two years teaching or directing experience
• Must have a passion for sharing theatre with young artists
• Strong classroom management skills
• High level of personal organization and planning
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Must work well in a team setting
• Knowledge of technical theatre is an asset
• Basic first aid is an asset
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
