StoryBook Theatre is having a wonderful new season and seeking VIDEO SUBMISSION AUDITIONS for a few more actors for the following shows:

THE GIVER by Eric Coble
February 22 to March 23
for the role of
THE GIVER (M): The old man who is the holder of memory for the community. He has wisdom and sight.

CROSSING SWORDS by Joe Slabe
April 19 to May 4
for the role of
JEREMY (Tenor): 17, Studious, witty, best friends with David.

SISTER ACT: THE MUSICAL
Music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Bill and Cheri Steinkeller and additional book material by Douglas Cater Beane
May 17 to June 8
for the roles of
EDDIE SOUTHER (Tenor, age 25-45): The desk chief at the Philadelphia police station and a high school classmate of Deloris. Trustworthy, sweet.
JOEY (Tenor, age 30-40): One of Curtis’s thugs. Gentle giant.
PABLO (Tenor, age 25-40): One of Curtis’s thugs.

Those wishing to be seen for CROSSING SWORDS and SISTER ACT should prepare and film:
– Two contrasting pieces of musical theatre approximately 32 bars.
– One comedic monologue no longer than 1 minute

Those wishing to be seen for THE GIVER should prepare and film:
– Two contrasting monologues no longer than 1 minute each.

All videos should be uploaded to an online service like YouTube or Vimeo and the link included in the online form.

The deadline to submit is Monday, October 15.

All productions offer paid contract roles to some or all cast members dependent on cast size. Actors for Crossing Swords will be engaged under an Equity Contract.

StoryBook Theatre welcomes and encourages submissions from artists of all diverse backgrounds.
