Call for Submissions (Canmore): Miss Candy’s Variety Show

THEATRE CANMORE invites entertainers, performers, comedians and theatre groups to submit acts for Miss Candy’s Variety Show!

Theatre Canmore is looking for unique Modern Variety/Vaudeville/Cabaret Acts for a once a month variety show.

Scheduled nights will be 2018: October 9, November 6, December 4, 2019: January 8 (Note: January 1 is the first Tuesday, but not a good date due to hangovers) February 5, March 5, April 2 and May 7
Original and previously performed acts are welcome.

Each monthly themed event would be presented in a “Modern Vaudeville” atmosphere with a highly entertaining revue type host. There will be different “HOOK” acts in between the several main acts to switch things up and keep the energy going.

Performances can be a variety of mediums including but not limited to:

Magician
Adult Puppetry
Spoken Word Slams
Burlesque
Sketch Comedy
Stand Up Comedy
Adult Balloon Maker
Bigfoot Experts

Applications will be accepted until NOON on April 28th, 2019.
