Did you know the Company Of Rogues added a handful of new classes this year? One we’re really excited for is…
ROGUES CHOIR: SINGING ESSENTIALS
Anyone can sing, and the Rogues Choir will prove it! In this class students will learn basic music theory/sheet music reading skills, the physical make-up of the vocal system, basic piano skills, warm-up techniques/exercises, basic musical vocabulary, tips and tricks to apply to make songs sound musical, how to incorporate acting into a vocal performance and how to blend as a group through choral arrangements of multiple genres. The goal of this course is to help students gain confidence in their individual singing ability as well as understand and better operate within a musical environment. This is suitable for students with beginner to intermediate singing abilities. Opportunities for solos may be available.
