On September 9, Swallow-a-Bicycle Theatre (with the support of Vertigo Theatre and the Rozsa Foundation) will host Calgary Theatre in Flux: a forum about our future. It will be a combination of panels, presentations and conversations, looking at the big picture of our city’s theatre scene, including but not limited to its recent upheavals.

Though it’s ambitious, we would very much like to see representatives from every theatre company in Calgary at the event, along with independent theatre artists, freelancers and anyone who has a stake in the local theatre scene.

We’ll be able to share more event details soon, but here are the basics:
