Conquest Theatre is holding auditions!
AUDITIONS now being held for our winter play, The Letter by W. Somerset Maugham. This is a high-tension drama by a world famous author. It has been made into a film twice, and performed many times around the world. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a role that Bette Davis played so well, when there aren’t many good, meaty roles for women. We need a female actor about 30-40 to play the lead role. The play revolves around her, so we need someone with lots of stage experience and theatrical training if possible. We also need an older man, major role, over 65 preferably or a younger one who can look older, an Asian woman, 40ish, and a large man about 45, for a major role. There are a couple of smaller roles for two men, one Asian, and one caucasian woman.
Our place and dates are not fixed yet, but we are anticipating performing around January/February. Deadline for auditions, October 15th.
