Bushtits, Shih Tzus and Private Dicks: All’s Fur in Love and Noir

At the Edmonton Fringe

Fresh off a great run at the Winnipeg & Calgary Fringe!

A Fedora turns Les’s life into a Film Noir movie!
Dollar store employee ventures into the world of pet murders and the “DeLorean” is his new fedora.

Synopsis

When Les, a social recluse, buys the iconic fedora worn by famed 1950’s movie detective Dana Andrews, the lines between reality and film noir begin to blur as Les launches an investigation into a series of suspicious pet deaths around his apartment building. Dial P for Pet Detective and “Say goodbye to my furry friend” as two actors and thirteen crazy characters take you on a thrill ride through a mad-cap caper of stylistic fantasy with bust-a-knee-cap laughs.

Runtime: 55min.
Rating: Family Friendly (suggested 12+ for cartoonish violence and topic of pet deaths)
Warning: Strobe Lights used briefly in performance
