The Malachite Theatre Collective are delighted to announce auditions for their forthcoming production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, to be performed in Edmonton, Alberta in January 2019.

Following the successes of Henry V (2017) and Twelfth Night (2018), the creatives behind London, England’s internationally-touring Malachite Theatre & Shoreditch Shakespeare Company are delighted to return to Alberta this winter, with a brand new production of Shakespeare’s savage Scottish tragedy.

Featuring a cast of local Albertan actors working with Elizabethan performance practices, and staged in Holy Trinity’s eerily-beautiful Sanctuary space, Macbeth promises to be the immersive theatrical experience of the season!

Directed by Benjamin Blyth (University of Cambridge, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), Macbeth is a Canadian Actors’ Equity Association production under the Artists’ Collective Policy.
