This workshop explores the application of Michael Chekhov’s Acting Technique to the Shakespearean monologue. Discover meaning and character intentions through a whole-bodied, psycho-physical experience of the language. We will explore many facets of the technique including psychological gestures, atmospheres and qualities of movement and witness how they intersect to produce a multi-layered performance. Suitable for actors, directors, high school teachers and anyone with an interest in performing or coaching Shakespeare.
