ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Europe, 1939. In the face of the Nazi threat, Canadian millionaire William Stephenson convinces Churchill and Roosevelt to fight the Nazis using unconventional or “guerilla” war tactics. Stephenson assembles an elite team of spies to work covertly behind enemy lines. Included amongst his recruits: a dedicated group of young women, unofficial soldiers in the war against fascism. THE INVISIBLE – Agents of Ungentlemanly Warfare is their story, a “spy noir musical” that seeks to answer the question: “What are you ready to die for?” from the perspective of five young women who were ready to fight to the death for the world they wanted to live in.
