AUDITION NOTICE
Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre will be holding auditions for all roles in the world premiere of:
THE BALLAD OF PEACHTREE ROSE by Nicole Moeller.
Directed by Brenley Charkow
Production dates: March/April 2019, Edmonton, Alberta.
Synopsis: Two women search for escape in one of Canada’s most notorious crime organizations. The more entrenched they get, the stronger the bond between them grows. Twelve years later, that bond is examined by a young woman certain it’s the key to untangling her mother’s murder.
PEACH – [F] 20s, the new recruit; emotionally immature; in and out of the criminal justice system since she was a teenager; unpredictable; wild; desperate for love; a survivor; a liar
MAX – [F] 30s, mid-level associate working in organized crime; former military, likes to appear confident and in control; risen through the ranks; feminine; addicted to adrenalin
BELLE – [F] early 30s; searching for answers regarding the death of her mother; strong-willed and loyal
MULTI-ROLE – [F] 30s-early 40s; roles include both low-level and high-level criminals involved in the drug trade. Plus, the Avon lady.
Audition Date: Monday June 4th, 2018.

Only actors who can play locally in Edmonton will be considered.
