About the workshop

In this introduction to Directing Theatre, participants will learn and apply basic directing strategies and techniques in order to bring a script from the “page to the stage”. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants will work to identify and balance the technical requirements of the play, (Casting, Set pieces, Props, etc) with the creative aspects of acting, stagecraft and design in order to present a cohesive and compelling piece of theatre.
